Coronavirus is present almost everywhere.
In the news, in small talks and in the agenda of the global leaders’ meetings.
It might be also present in the bloodstream of some of you reading this email.
So how can Playfight respond to this?
Playfight, like many other physical activities, increases the risk for the propagation of the virus. Limiting this risk is very important in order to preserve the health of the ones that are more sensitive to the virus.
That’s why I invited all the Playfight Facilitators to avoid offering Playfight Circles on these crucial days.
At the same time, Coronavirus is creating a wave of fear and anxiety and many people are experiencing isolation and disconnection. To support these people in this difficult moment it is important to be able to offer them the deep connection that is at the heart of Playfight.
I know it's a paradox, but let's see how to solve it. The question is:
How can we support limiting the spreading of the virus and at the same time support people to feel connection?
At the moment of closing they proposed to connect with the quality of appreciation. The question was: what is the unexpected beauty that the Coronavirus is giving us?
A provocative question that made people share about the beauty of spending time with their families. To give time to slowing down. To do things they have been procrastinating for years. To finish the book that was accumulating dust on top of the shelf. To play with their children for hours and even to Playfight with them!
And you?
What are the perks that this uncommon situation have given you?
And which other initiatives could we, Playfight Facilitators, take to promote connection and at the same time limit the spreading of the virus?
I’d love to hear your voice about it, so if you feel like, please write a comment below.
I wish you strength and connection,
Love,
Matteo
